New for 2026! The FreshChoice Lake Dunstan Trail - Half Marathon and 10 km!
Due to popular demand (and space within our trail concession) August 30 2026 will see the addition of a 21.1k and 10k distance options.
The 21.1 km course will start just north of the Hugo Bridge part way down the Cromwell Gorge. A boat ride will be required to get to the start - this is included in the price, along with $20 per person towards the Southern Lakes Trails Trust who administer this wonderful resource! The 21.1 km course will include several of the best engineering and scenic features the trail has to offer. Same finish line as the Marathon at The Cromwell Heritage Precinct.
The exact 10 km start point is to be confirmed but likely to be near the Carrick Winery on Cairnmuir Rd out past the Bannockburn Inlet.
